 Just watched the evening news coverage of Lt Col Thornelow's funeral at Wellington Barracks today. Very moving, but something that the Guards do so well. Such a great loss to his family, regiment and the Army but a funeral that was dignified and respectful  - in contrast to the Michael Jackson debacle. (Apologies to his fans but..... ) And then

Yes, it was very moving wasn't it? Same goes for the crowds in Wootten Bassett yesterday, brought tears to my eyes.

Don't get me started on Michael Jackson...
