I must be mad..

..but I'm doing it anyway.

On an August weekend, the 15th and 16th to be exact, I shall be spending my time on a bike, (get your minds out of the gutter).

The weeks and weekends prior to this event I shall be in training, and will lose many weights.

Now with the selfish part of that away, I'll now let loose with the unselfish part, I want money, ( Read more... )

Woooow! Amazing! Go you! I'll sponsor you when I have moneys. :)

I am completely unfit, working on it, and would like to do the Race for Life in June, start small.

James ran a half-marathon for charity today, it was cool. Me and his brother were at the finish line with a banner and everything. :) He has injured his knee, but did ace. I like this whole running idea. I can see why it has caught on!

Congratulations to James!! :D I'm not much of a runner, in fact not at all, I used to be a fair sprinter but anything longer and I'm done. I'm going to try again this year though, aftera bit of training I was able to run a bit longer than usual.

I thought I hit people early so they could have time to sort out some finances, and I'm not expecting a lot of money from people, but a little bit from a lot of people should be fine.

I did the bike run a few years ago, about four or five, and I didn't finish the last few miles because I'd buggered up my knee badly, and had to quit. This year however, I'm going to work on strengthening my bad knee and finish the route, I have to as it's longer this year.

By the way, I've got a few things to send you but craptastic as I am at keeping addresses....well you know.

I know! He really loves it now. I want to lose weight to be a bit lighter, and then I can join him. I was thinking of aiming to do the Race for Life in June, it's only 3 miles or so, good place to start! And it's for a good cause. I've started donating regularly to charities, something that I always aimed to do and didn't, so it's pretty cool.

Aye, I'll sponsor you! I get paid on Friday (thank fecking jihad), and I'm spending most of my overtime money on new spectacles, which is rubbish. But needed.

Wow, that's pretty awesome of you! I want to get a bike, the routes in Brighton are pretty good, and it'll only keep me fitter! I have such a long way to go, but the good thing is, I have the right frame of mind for it. I'll run a marathon one day.

Oooh, awesomeness! I have a few things for you too. I have your address, unless you have moved more than 2 years ago, and can give you ours if needed.

Yay for you! Tried to fill out the pledge form but keep getting errors so I shall try again later.

I'm doing the Race for Life again this year - if I can get my toenails in shape that is.

Yay, thank thee, I'm not sure what the problem is, it's supposed to be ok for all online pledges, perhaps it's just a Sunday problem.

I read about your toenail problem, ouch, that sounds painful, sympathies are being sent. I'm a bit ticklish with my feet, stil haven't had a pedicure because I think the moment someone touches my foot I'll jump and yell eee! And then a big mess. I want to have a pedi though, some day.

Let me know when the Race for Life is and I'll sponser you.
