I’m stealing a note (and caps, for that matter) from rainblows and making a “reliving” post. Except it’s about Cuddy, not Addison. I've been working on this for a while now, but I only have season 1, episodes 1-8 done. After I did the first couple, I went on vacation and then I just forgot I was doing this. But then I remembered, so I got back to work.

Oh, man, I love Cuddy so much. I watched the rerun that was on tonight -- the one where House is fake-dying of fake-cancer -- and omg, she is awesome and they are awesome and there is much love in my heart. "Call the Make A Wish Foundation." Win. I hate the idea that they are doomed to lose to House/Cameron (are they doomed to lose to House/Cameron? That's the vibe I'm gettin', but what do I know?), which is why I'm glad House/Wilson exists in all its adorable subtextual glory, because all love triangles would be much less stressful if there was a delightful slashy alternative untainted by aforementioned triangle stress. Rock on, show!

What's up with House/Cameron, anyway? I really don't know how to feel about them. Besides vaguely annoyed, but I'm trying to get past that, because a) one of my friends loves them and b) I just feel like it would be the wiser choice for the sake of my own sanity. However, TWOP mocks Cameron so winningly and I am finding it increasingly hard to resist.

TWoP makes fun of Cameron because Cameron sucks. She basically raped House into going on a date with her and then can't take the hint that he wants very, very little to do with her? Not cool. And House/Cameron/Cuddy is less a love triangle, and more House wants to do Cuddy, and Cameron's a skeevy chick who hangs around a lot and looks wistful.

However, I always feel bad saying that I hate the character of Cameron because she's family friends with a bunch of people I know, and I feel like they take it personally. I'm not hating on Jenny Morrison, besides the fact that she could probably stand to eat a sandwich.

No, basically. I am a hugely optimistic person but I think even if you asked someone fairly pessimistic they'd agree with me a little bit here. And if you asked a House/Cam fan... Well lets just say morale on their end is pretty low right now. They started a petition and everything... House/Cuddy started out as the underdog and they slowly built it up and we OWNED season 3. House/Cam was pretty much non existent if you compare it to earlier seasons. And now they look to be lessening the roles of all the ducklings, so I doubt that'd be a good sign for House/Cam.

And, I think a lot of people think that Chase/Cam is adorable (I sure know I do!). Especially because they're together in RL.

Nice post. I hearts first season Cuddy. "Damned If You Do" was the first episode that I saw and House/Cuddy is the ship that I immediately picked up on. And I love them.

Oh, and I'm trying to convince dollsome to join the Good Ship Snarky Sex too, because it's just the ways things should be, no? There's so much angsty, backstoried love. Mmmm.

Yeah. Me too. House/Cuddy seemed so obvious to me. Then, somewhere down season 1, Cameron is all "do you like me, House? I need to know?" And I'm all "Um. CRAZY GIRL!? Where did you get that idea from?"

We must convince dollsome. She must turn to the good side, not the dark side.

Oh this post is incredible. I was flailing and nodding and yelling "YESSSSS"* all over the place.

House/Cam shippers should be FORCED to read this. It would obliterate their "LIEK OMG WHERE DID HOUSE/CUDDY EVEN COME FROM?! HOUSE/CAM HAS BEEN THERE FROM THE BEGINNING!!1!" argument. Because that bugs me a lot. It was the underdog but it was most certainly THERE. Right from the beginning. And written, too. The Wilson quote in Occam's Razor is the example I always give, haha.I love that House says "don't". Hey, Wilson coulda been going somewhere none-romantic with that. House stopped him because there's something to it. Which we know for a fact now. A FACT.

Yeah, House/Cuddy was totally THERE. I really thought the House/Cam stuff came out of nowhere. All of a sudden Cam thought that House liked her and I was like, "HUH?!" (Okay, so he took her to a monster truck rally. But I'm convinced it was because Cuddy turned him down first. I'M CONVINCED!)
