Man I totally feel you re: grad school/life after college. The real world is scary HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU HAVE.

I still have time THERE IS LIKE A YEAR LEFT TO GO. More if I actually somehow manage to elbow my way into being a research assistant. Getting into honors is really the only super-immediate worry, but MAN. IS A YEAR EVEN ENOUGH TO TURN THIS SHIP AROUND????

ssssob reality. Maybe I will just be one of those 40-year-olds who live in their parents' basement or something.

YOU CAN TURN IT AROUND. Go to a career fair or meet with a counselor. See if you can't nab any summer internships or positions with profs that would look shiny on a resume. I PROBABLY DON'T NEED TO TELL YOU THIS.

But you have more time than you think. I didn't start doing grad school stuff until like...this June and my apps are due in December-February of this winter. Believe in yourself etc etc YOU CAN DO IT.

I'd definitely talk to a counselor from your department. They'd have some ideas of what other students have done or point you in some directions you can look into. ;__; It's definitely a rough spot to be in, but you can do it, Snap! Good luck!
