My mother is picking me up in Boston & bringing me back home just in time for it, then I'm driving myself back to Boston later on that night, going to class in the morning, then coming back home again.

it's just so frustrating. like. i can do math and science and those kinds of things no problem.. art makes my brain work harder and that's why I decided to be a photography major rather than anything else.

it's just so damn frustrating that people not involved in art or music just don't get that.

Reason why they don't get art in general - they do the easy "Click a button - copy a scene" art. They've never had to deal with a REAL crit.

...also, they most likely think Thomas Kinkade is good art. Reason enough to kill them.

Coming from the other side of fine art, I hear ya. Try to explain Sibelius to a general audience. Doesn't work. lol. Keep on hanging in there. I know, it DOES make your brain work harder. Some people don't get it, or don't choose to get it is the better term for it.
