Hey Ned! I'm so excited to hear that you want to be a part of my community! You have the right idea! Here's what you need to do though. Go to the profile page for the community *here*. Click the "Join" link on the right side of the screen! That make you a part of the community, and you will then be able to see what goes on (since posts are security locked to members only)! THEN you can hit post and submit your introduction.

Do you know how to post pictures? Like where the intro asks for your curtains and such, you take the pictures and enter them in the form. If you need help, just let me know!

Actually, once you've officially clicked the "join" link check out *this* application so you can see what it should be like!

Oh, and the member picture - no people at all :) Just one of your favorite photographs (I'll resize it)!

I promise it's pretty easy once you get in the swing of things!

ok... I missed that 'copy and paste' direction yesterday, so I 'guessed' right about that!, but... I can't figure out how to post yet. I'm thinking I must wait for you to approve me (?). I'll wait to hear back from you.

Oh... this is VERY important. If you look at my 'profile' you'll see that it's primarily about 'sex'. PLEASE do not let that mislead you. I have a LOT more interests than I have listed on my profile, and if you scroll thru my journal entries, you'll see that not too long ago I gave myself a new focus... of putting more energy into my spiritual development. Then... shortly after that, I moved 2,000 miles from my lifelong hometown on the northern Calif. coast, to the middle of Texas (for work). I'm telling you all this because although I still plan on 'playing around' on LJ sexually... I will NOT bring that part of 'me' into this community. I am a professional and respectful person, and I will treat your community with all the respect and morality that it deserves. Thanks for letting me share that with you!

Thanks for the quick answer! I've got the application pretty much completed but I still have some questions (just one or two).
Could you tell me again where exactly I have to post it?
Which size should the photographs have? I have no experience with html-formating (cuts, links etc) so I resized them to ~500dpi...

You post it into the community! Go to the user info page (the link I just sent) and click on "post" :)

As long as the photos aren't absolutely HUGE, you should be fine. As long as we don't have to use a scroll bar to see further right on the screen, you should be good :)

o9. No altering the pictures. You can make slight changes that a camera could do (like change from color to black and white, etc). No combining pictures together. This only applies to the photo that you enter for the poll though. You may do whatever you like with the other pictures in your weekly post.

So... as a conclusion: I may da whatever I like with my picture on scavenger hunt, but NOT on the weekly theme.
