This is pretty good.

I'm just wondering though, is the blurred background a photoshop effect, or natural?

other than that, this picture is really a nice take.

It's a natural take. This happens when you really focus on the subject, and like, ZOOM IN.

I guess this only applies to SLR cameras :S

I had a bad experience with parrots, they kinda chase you when they get all rattled up but i so didn't do anything to it OK, Im not a meanie. The parrot just felt like chasing me I guess o.o
