Cheap Car Hire

Can anyone suggest or reccomend a good car hire place? preferably as cheap as possible for a week next week...

I am going to trawl the net over lunch but thought I would check with you lot seeing as you are all so helpful :)

I have tried to find a rent-a-wreck but they don't seem to operate in Southampton :(

OK, it's way after lunchtime so you may be ahead of me on this, but the place at the end of my road - Enterprise Car Hire - I recall being surprisingly cheap, at least according to their website. I remember, because I found out after hiring a van from elsewhere :-( I haven't used them though, so I don't know if they're a bunch of cowboys or not.
