Journey's End

Okay, the Doctor Who series finale was sappy and corny, but I had a lot of fun watching it. Here's hoping that the casting hints regarding the next series of Torchwood come true!

I just finished watching it. I totally bawled my eyes out and shouted "NO WAY" a few times. It was fun, though.

It felt like they tried to do everything in this one. They may even have succeeded.

I really liked it when Davros called the Doctor on the way his companions had changed through associating with him. I think that he was spot on. I noticed that the Doctor had no comeback.

It was spot on, but it isn't like the Doctor didn't already know that. It also isn't entirely his fault, they've all had the opportunity to say no and to make their own decisions, I think. It's how when the people who get the willies from him say he only brings death and all that.. he doesn't really. There's just always some crazy scheming going on to mess with time/history/life as we know it, and he busts them up once in a while. It's his job.

Or something. WoW gave me brain rot.

Many people say that Doctor Who is not going end, they just are going to film for a few years before releasing it. They even hired a new doctor, Which is kinda sad :/ If you read their blogs David Tennant is thinking of doing a musical.

True enough, oh anonymous poster. My understanding is that there would be four made-for-TV movies, of which we've seen three. The fourth presumably is the Christmas episode. After that I expect we'll see a return (at some point) to regular television episodes, starring someone new (Matt Smith). I don't know if we'll see the regeneration happen in the Christmas episode, or if it will occur later.

How much of the Doctor Who episodes have they found so far? Apperantly they lost them all in a huge garage sale... Looking to buy as many episodes as I can for my collection

A lot of the old stuff is lost forever, apparently. Fortunately the new episodes are pretty good. :)

Has anyone seen this Doctor Who yet? It was another good one or at least until the end where the Doctor realises he has unlimited power and can do what ever he wants... Can't wait till the next one. Though that is the last one with David Tennent :.(.......
Can't wait though

I enjoyed this one, even with the end where the Doctor got his comeuppance. I think that this sort of thing must be a real danger for the last of the Timelords, and I'm glad that it was addressed.
