You know, every time I do one of these intros for something, I get excited and start thinking "This time, surely there must be something clever I can do! Some supremely awesome and fun way to do an intro post that will capture attention, crack people up, and make a good impression

They really are. You play this constant game of 'Well, I could tell them this' that runs up against 'But who the hell would care about it?' and so on. ;)
