[Fran perched neatly on his desk watching the members of The Hitman High Society for the Popularisation of Prestidigitation (and other performing arts) mill about absently. Beside him sat a large paper bag.
Today the meeting’s focus would not be on magic or performance of any kind. Though, this wasn’t to say he wouldn’t be playing any tricks...

Mu, any suggestions on where in the building this ghost might be hiding? I haven't seen him myself.

We could send one group to check at the top floors and one towards the bottom, then.

Any idea who we should send where? [Or maybe we could just walk around telling them they're in the wrong place at random...]

Ghosts are more likely to show up if you're not using a light, right? ]
I didn't know ghosts could kill people, though. You're not spreading misinformation, are you, club president froggy?

Sempaaaai~ [Gee. Really, Bel. Have a little faith.] Wouldn't it be too much effort to make something like that up? Ghosts are great at killing people. They really are. In all sorts of ways, too.

What sorts of ways?

Hmn...well, it depends. A real popular one seems to be recreating the ghost's own death. So, in Cozart's case, waiting until people get near the stairs, then possessing them and killing them off like that. Not too creative, but, I bet it'd be fun to watch.
Another is when ghosts lure stupid people in by making like they're still living and in need of help. Even if the living folks don't die, they probably should, so, it's just as well that they're stuck in a bad situation in the end.
There are some real boring methods, too, like entrancing someone to the point at which they don't eat or sleep and eventually go crazy and kill themselves or just, y'know, starve.
Mostly, they just want company, or feel like giving evolution a hand with selecting the weakest links.
Except for when they're killing people as part of some big plan to be ressurected. That's my personal favourite since it usually involves sucking the life out of people and turning them into mummies.

By the way, there's no rule on pets, so his bat will be accompanying him |D A ghost hunt is the perfect time to take dearest Koroleva out! You know, he's very looking forward to this--to the point of near-gigglefits. So many screams tonight.. ~ ]

Your bat can't be your only partner, just so you know. Ghosts are kind'a species-ist, and don't count non-human animals as being part of a human group. But, it's real great he came. I'm sure the both of you'll go a long way for scaring the c**p out of the students be star investigators.
[Having Bel, Seil, and Koroleva around was great for the event's atmosphere. Eye-less grinning twin princes with creepy laughs, a bat, and seemingly floating knives well, Bel had those, at least? Fran didn't get it himself, but, that was just the sort of stuff that got most people scared.]
Hope you two have fun.

Oh? Well, I'm sure someone else will join me soon. ~ If not, I'll go find someone; does that sound alright?
And I'm sure we will; Koroleva and I absolutely love nights like these ~

She'll just be clutching that faulty flashlight close to her and looking around for someone to go around the school with...]

He'd group with her, but, there are faulty flashlights to distribute, and he's a bit too awful to be around delicate people for...any period of time. At all.
Well, it's good to see she's participating, though. Nice that she's kindof relaxed.]

Julie. Your partner's gotta be male. I don't trust you to not break our second rule. [Y'know--the one about not harassing people.
Julie was bad enough in fully-lit areas--forget darkened rooms. Not that saying as much would get Fran anywhere--he'd have to be careful about the phrasing.]
That crazy self-declared prefect guy's wandering around tonight. He really likes fighting, so, even looking at a girl the wrong way'd probably get you attacked. Be bitten to death when I'm not responsible for it. Do that sort of thing on your own time, okay? I don't want the club associated with it.
