I'm glad you were able to flip a switch and I hope you are successful in not letting it flip back.

A suggestion for the insomnia - which you've probably heard before but this worked for me: Make your bed into a space where only sleep happens. It was really hard for me because I LOVE to read in bed and watch movies in bed and generally hang out in bed but subconsciously, my brain was not associated the reclined position and the blankets with sleeping - it was associating them with fun wakefulness.

So I transferred my reading and movie watching and general hanging out to the couch or a chair or even the floor when I was bored with the other two, and made my bed only about sleep. Sleeping was the only thing I was allowed to do there. It took a while, but it helped in the end. I don't know if it would work for you but it's worth a shot, right?
