alive. I have a gorgeous wife, a beautiful step-daughter and jnr on the way.

Yesterday was brilliant, despite my mothers comments that Sav has 'stolen' me from her.

Thank you for all the love you've posted to Sav's journal, it is greatly appreciated.

Snarky.

I'm glad everything went so well! It sounds like the four of you will make a happy family.

Your poor mother... hopefully, she'll modify her attitude to what she's gained...

Thank you.

As for my mother, she has been used to me being at her beck and call, Sav comes first now, but I will, of course, always be there for Mum.

Sav's Mum gave an insight at lunch today... we shall see. Mum may well change her POV when Jnr arrives.

Congratulations to all of you. As long as everyone continues to count their blessings I foresee a happy life for all of you.

Hopefully, in time, your mother will come to see she has not lost you; but gained a wonderful daughter and granddaughter... not to mention the little one on the way.

*blushes*

And I have a wonderful, supportive Hubbie.

As for your mother, remember what Mum said at lunch today. When a daughter marries you gain a son, when a son marries it feels like you loose him. I'm sure, with time and patience, your Mum will change her mind.

I think all of you are incredibly fortunate. I have smiled every time I've thought of the four of you and the wonderful life you will have.

Your mum will come around when Jnr arrives. And I think that Sav's mum's insight is pretty much spot on. It doesn't mean that things will be the way your mum said, it's just that she probably has that fear lurking in the back of her mind and every so often it surfaces. Of course, it goes without saying that now Sav comes first, always first.

You have a very sweet family, dear sir.
All my love for all of you,
Beth
