Your trip sounds amazing, and I am greatly jealous because while you were off exploring the world, I was stuck at home. Anyway, I was wondering if it'd be alright if I friended you? I always ask first, just because I know some people are private about their journals.

Hey! The trip was pretty amazing. Of course you can friend me. I'll friend you back, too, just be aware that over half my journal is either me ranting about my family or babbling about some nonsensical fandom-related thing. But as a fellow teen and HP fan, I'm sure you know exactly what I'm talking about, right? ;)
