[Of course it's his luck that Potter sees this. Stupid PCD, he's turning you to voice so that Potter doesn't catch sight of how absolutely horrible he looks right now. And by absolutely horrible, he means more so than usual.]

[Snape lightly tapped his wand against the counter, idly wondering if Izuna would be angry if his nephew ended up a little singed. Probably. Pity.]

[Snape's eyes closed tightly for a minute as he fought the urge to pinch the bridge of his nose. It doesn't prevent his words from being bitten out though.]

[A while later, Remus opens the door to the bar, giving Snape a glimpse of his own sparkling skin for a second before he takes refuge in the shadowed room. However, he still looks like hell.]

I hope it's normal to feel like this even while taking the potion.

[Sadly enough, Snape's seen Lupin look worse. Like when he's out of Hogwarts and can't get a decent job anywhere.]

The potion only subdues the wolf during the full moon. It does nothing for before and after.
