You've probably already celebrated it, but...
[He trails off with a shrug. Christmas is always nice to celebrate with someone you care about, and Snape finally has two people here that he does care for.
And as an added bonus, there's no mad aunt or Dark Lord to ruin this Christmas!]
[This totally doesn't mean he's forgiven him for the incident the past few days. Draco has barely even stepped out into the main house since the incident with Lily. His arrivals and departures were generally accompanied by the crack of Apparation to and from his room.
[James has been in a terribly depressed mood since... well, that, but Harry showing up has brightened his spirits immensely. So guess what, Snape? James is totally going to piss you off every single opportunity he gets.
[Oh, he knew that was coming, so have a dismissive wave.]
It must be an odd sensation for you. ['You disgusting git.'] I have a full house, myself. [You know. With his son. From the future. With Lily.] I take it you took in the other one with the attitude problem?

It is, but it's a pleasant one. And it's not about the quantity, but the quality.
[He's the type who wanted to stay at Hogwarts over the breaks because his house was horrible over the holidays. Alcohol and all that. Yet he went back every year, because he didn't wish to leave his mother alone with that monster.]
And yes, I did.
