[When the PCD comes on, it's obviously come on because Snape wanted it to. He's seated in a wing chair, legs crossed, his usual Potions Master robes transfigured into robes that seem to be made of much better quality and much darker.

The chase of the hunt and testing one's skills in that area is the fun of it. At least for me. It makes the end much more rewarding.
