Well, I certainly hope you don't disappear from LJ all-together. It's been great fun getting to know you, but I do understand the burnout. In fact, I'm anticipating it to happen to me, but I shall enjoy the fun while it lasts.

I'll miss your stories--greatly. Yours were some of the first SS/HG I found and loved, and I love how your Snape evokes the one in canon while still being appealing and sexy. That said, I do understand. When I left Trek I didn't look back and I'm not sure my half-life in HP will be as long. Especially when you get too involved, fandom and some of the inevitable pettiness can wear you down.

I'll hope nevertheless that even if we don't get another Before the Dawn from you, that something somewhere will spark a short story every once in a while out of you.

My X-Files disenchantment was equally sudden. Something clicked, and I thought "BLEAH!" I've never gone back except to pick at my X-Files/HP WIP that will be finished one day... *winces*

I second everything harmony_bites said. Even if you never write another piece of HP fanfic, I'm awfully glad our times in fanon overlapped, even just a bit. Good luck with RL, and I look forward to any future squeeing you wish to do. ;)
