...to see Phantom of the Opera! Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Saw it years ago when I was about eight years old, and I've been waiting for it to come back to Australia ever since.

Given that I've re-read Phantom of Hogwarts twice in the last week, I might look at the stage show a bit differently this time. Hehe ( Read more... )

LOL!!!!!!!! Wow, that's awesome. *snigger* I juts saw PotO in DC this past weekend, about which I'll eventually write in my LJ, seeing as I just got home last night late. Hope it's as faboo for you as it always is for me! :)

2nd: Awww, I'm sorry about your budgie. (Inappropriate levity= for some reason that statement sounds almost obscene. *ducks*) We had to have our rat put down right before we left on our trips. But it's always awful when a pet dies and you discover it. :( I hope Lucy fares well while you're gone!

3rd: Have a wonderful trip, darlin! *hugs* :)

Hope you enjoyed the show! (Haven't checked out my Flist since I got back, but I'm sure you've posted about it). The one I went to was pretty good... the main guy who played the Phantom was sick and we had the understudy, but he was still good. Neither lead was Snapeish or Hermioneish enough for my liking (damn you! curse you!) and I spent quite a bit of time looking around the stage at the props, special effects, etc and thinking how much easier it would have been with magic!

Lucy (who apparently had a sex change while I was away and is now called Lucius) is quite all right, as is her (his?) new pal, Cissy. :)
