Um, but where to begiiiiin. Seriously, what freaks me out about writing in a new fandom is that it's not 100% IN MY HEAD like HP is. I know HP in and out, but I've only watched Merlin once through, so I get worried about characterisations and plots and writing something horribly wrong. How did you tip-toe your way in? Or did you just throw yourself to the wolves? Do you look back on your first fics in Merlin fandom and cringe?

I primarily want to write Arthur/Merlin (and I have a kink inside for Arthur bottoming), but I could see myself getting into a S2 Morgana/Arthur or a S4 Morgana/Merlin sort of D/s thing. I hate Gwaine and most of the knights (except Lancelot and --refrains from spoilage in case any flisters haven't seen it yet). I kind of love Gwen, but I can't see sexualizing her for some odd reason.

I have NO plot bunnies! Do you have some to share?? Also, recs would be out of this world fabulous.

HA! This is exactly the response I always had to fandom peeps moving from HP to Merlin....before I actually sat down and watched it. ;__;

However, I wouldn't ever ever ever leave HP completely. I'm still itching to write for that fandom like whoa. <33

So uh. do you happen to have any AO3 invites? That you could spare? I basically just discovered it and I love it and I want to, you know, have an account so I can keep track of things! But it tells me the automated invite system won't get to me till about September. I am not that patient!
