THEY KILLED MY IAN Bart BOONE!!!!!!!!!!!!
>:O
That...that was so stupid!!! What exactly is the point of killing off Boone? Claire's child was going to be born, anyway. Why exactly does someone need to die for her to go into labor?
o_O
Also, why does it have to be Boone? His character still has potential and technically, maggie grace told E! that " It may never be over for them. This is only temporary,etc..."
Shannon/Boone was the first ship I've REALLY gotten into in awhile(Aside from a certain slash couple sued as a ratings stunt that shall remain nameless). They were so fucking V.C. Andrews and so amazing. It really showed off Ian's acting abilities and it was just HOT.
I mean...what was the point of having all the build up to that episode, then just ditching the storyline? Sure it may seem like it was resolved, but that's bullshit.
We never saw Shannon's side of the story, for starters. She's not who she seems on the surface at all and judging from the previews, it's fairly obvious she cares about Boone-His dying made her cry.
Also, why the HELL did Locke ask Boone to climb up into an abandoned plane that was OBVIOUSLY teetering on the edge?
I mean, Boone is sort of an idiot for going along with it, but Locke is even stupider for suggesting it.
Jack could easily save Boone-He saved Charlie from worse and Charlie isn't even fucking interesting.
I know they say you're not a true fan of a show if you leave after one character dies, but I decided to tune into this show for Ian in the first place. EdR and Dom were the next two reasons, but they weren't as much of my reason.
I'm fairly certain EVERYONE knows how Ian-obsessed I am. I'm not gonna go acting like a stupid fangirl and slash him or post away on fanfucker, but I always buy magazines that have to do with him, I have old ym modeling pics of his,etc...
Besides, this show is boring. I've missed a lot of episodes because of school and now I don't regret it. I'll still buy the season one dvd when it comes out, because it has my Ian, but I'm not watching the show after next week, dude.
There's a chance he *could* be in the SF, because it's supposed to have flashbacks for everyone and wrap up loose ends for the season, but I really doubt I have the patience to watch anymore.
This show turned into the "Jack, Sawyer and Kate" show EONS ago. Why the FUCK does Kate get 3 episodes? She's nowhere near as interesting as any of the other characters, she's annoying as hell and the least experienced actor on the show.
Jack is a sanctimonious pain in the ass, but at least Matt Fox has lots of experience.
They overdo the stereotypes and flashbacks and there are a LOT of loose ends that could have been warpped up that weren't, because apparently the writers think EVERYONE is obsessed with who gets to fuck Kate(who btw, is a tease).
God, I hope Shannon kicks Locke's ass, or at least yells at him. I don't care how guilty he feels, he's a crazy old fucker who got the best-looking and most potentially interesting character killed.
It's not even worth it to watch for Sayid(who was my 2nd favorite aside from Boone). I love Naveen Andews, but it's seriously not worth it to watch even for him, because watching that show means having to actually watch moments with everyone else and they suck. Aside from Sayid, the only interesting people left are Shannon and Sun, who rarely get any screen time, anyway (Unless it involves Sayid or talking to Jack and Kate, really).
Claire *could* have been interesting, but ALL her screen time revolves around Charlie and their aggravating, overly fluffy couple-dom. I love Emilie, but her character has become REALLY boring. Her time with Locke was the first time I've seen her away from charlie for more than 5 seconds....
I just keep getting more and more reason to stop watching television completely. I'm still gonna try and watch Desperate Housewives, but even that show isn't as great as it used to be for me. Probably because I got to used to it always being reruns, I don't know.
Susan pisses me off-She's my absolute least favorite character and she's a ginormous pain in the ass. WE GET IT! She's a nice girl, gosh darn it. That's the thing that really bugs me, though-She's NOT perfect and she's not really *that* nice-Someone should tell her that IC.
She's judgemental as fuck about Edie(Who isn't really even a threat to mike anymore, because a.) Susan won and b.) they broke up), She's a HORRIBLE mother to Julie, she over-reacts about so many things, she's self-absorbed as hell, she's insensitive and she's just a pain in the ass.
The others are far more interesting, but I agree with one reviewer's remark about lynette: She has a "laissez faire, let's get real approach to parenting, which involves everything except actual parenting".
Now, if I had kids and they were as insane as hers, I'd probably be even worse, but I do think we rarely ever get to see her REALLY parenting. Probably because her kids are actually demons from hell who drink her blood, but still.
I think out of all of them, Bree is the best parent. She'll do anything for her kids and is devoted to them to the point where she would break the law to protect them.
I think we should see more of Paul and Martha's crazy sister-Those guys are more interesting than Susan any day. Also, more of closet case! Andrew and John's roomate. That was just fucking hilarious to watch-God, susan is so full of herself.
All I will say is: Thank Heaven for Sex in the City. I have NO idea what I would do without that show. My last obsesive refuge after a long ass day at school and it's over a show that's already over. I'm sure after they start the reruns back from season one again, I'll get bored with that, too.
