I am such an idiot!

Y'know, for as many years as I have under my belt, one would think that I would be a bit smarter than I am sometimes. Now, in my defense, I left for work at 6:20 this morning, didn't get home from work until 6:45 this evening and I was just a bit beyond tired. But when I received the phone call at 7:00 p.m., asking for me by my maiden name (which ( Read more... )

I completely understand your panic. I work for an agency that regulates collection agencies. Happens all the time. Make sure you file that complaint. Slimy bastards.

I'm truly appalled at some of the stuff I'm reading. Fortunately I was skeptical enough not to agree to anything (why would I negotiate with a third party without any paperwork in front of me????) but I can only imagine the horror that an older person would feel if confronted with this. **shudders**

Thanks, hun. It's a relief to know that I'm not misreading this. **hugs you**

Who's been phucking with you, baby? I'm so sorry they've upset you! I know how long it can take to calm down once they get all your adrenaline, indignation, and secret shame roaring through your ears. I'm glad you're to the ass-kicking stage, now.

*paces with you companionably*

P2!!!!

**twirls you around**

I'm sure tomorrow I'll be in full battle mode. Right now, I'm just trying to get drunk. And I'm too distracted to drink. How dare they take the fun out of Cinco de Mayo??? This comes on the heels of my major crisis last week, which involved cleaning people stealing wrapped dollars and quarters out of my coin vault. **iz fed up** What's the matter with people? Can they honestlylook at themselves in the mirror in the morning?

**iz perhaps tipsier than she thought**

Good for you! I would drink with you if I wasn't at work. Tipsy is the best. And what kind of idiotic cleaning person steals from a flucking BANK? I swear, P, truly. People are too stupid to live.

It's so good to see you; I've missed you!

I know. Like I wasn't going to notice all my coin's gone missing! Sheesh!!

I've missed you, too. It seems like forever since I've been on LJ. Time is just slipping through the old fingers.

These slime balls work that way. they try to get you so flustered that you agree to anything, even giving over your first born ;)

I am glad you had half a mind to not agree to anything. If you couldn't come to Portus I would be sad :(

Loves you, Sonia :)

I could kick myself for how upset I allowed myself to get, but thank heavens for my BIL, who talked me down.

I would be more than sad if I couldn't come to Portus. I can't wait to see all of you! **lifts glass in toast ... spills on shirt ... rolls eyes ... iz a sloppy drunk**

Don't feel too bad, I imagine most people would just hear that amount of money, and panic without thought! I know I would.
