The co-worker Christmas presents for 2009 are finally finished ... with two hours to spare! I'm off to shower and meet them for a late lunch, but I thought I'd share the gifties, in their favorite colors:

How pretty! It must be nice to have a skill like that. I really love the 3d one. How long did it take you to finish those?

Thank you, my dear! Knitting is my therapy. I honestly feel bereft if I don't have something on the needles.

I started in early October, working on them when I could. I had the first and third ones done by the middle of November. The last one that I did, the fourth one, was completed under extreme pressure in about eight days, with today being day eight. I finished at 11:00 this morning. I really need to learn to pace myself better.

Nice, I once made a scarf, took me a whole pregnancy ;), there was no pattern except for the 'looser knitted' and 'tight knitted' parts. I didn't start the hat anymore ;)

Thanks, luv! I still owe you a Slytherin scarf, don't I? (I had one made but really didn't like the yarn I used so I never sent it to you.) I need to get on that. Maybe by the time it gets cold in your little corner of the world again, I'll have it for you.

Thanks, Krissy. The third one is actually adapted from a shawl pattern which I absolutely love. I made the shawl as a retirement gift for my branch manager two years ago, and I was thrilled with the way it turned out.
