"At least pretend to be interested. I'm talking about our son."
"Fine. What did our son say?"
"I quote, 'And Daddy is like the night, dark and kinda strict but Papa Harry is bright and happy and he makes the stars twinkle in Daddy's eyes so they aren't so dark anymore'".
Severus gaped. "He didn't."
"He did."
"Hmm."
"Well?"
"Our son is very wise."
"And he won't be home for a couple of hours."
Harry drew Severus into his embrace and watched the starry night twinkle behind his eyes.
