Now, a friend of mine, eyetastelikesex, said that it "makes Sin City look like a juvenile wank." Is this possible?!?!

Yeah, I liked Batman...but I do have one question. What in the hell was that whole sequence in the end when the girl was all like..."This is your mask, the person I loved is gone...maybe one day he'll come back *walks with him hand in hand*"?!?! I just didnt get that part, she seemed to be contradicting herself.

Yeah, I'm with you on that. That was the type of statement that I think required her to walk off in the opposite direction and give one final sorrowful glance in Bruce Wayne's direction, but instead she walks off hand in hand with him? It seemed like Nolan was trying to have his cake and eat it to.

To answer Lauren's question, NO - IT'S NOT POSSIBLE!

Even though I haven't seen Batman Begins, I highly doubt it's anywhere near or even in the same ballpark as Sin City.

I still need to see it though.

Can't wait to see you guys in a few weeks!

No, it really isn't possible. Sin City is still the best movie that I've seen thus far this year. The originality and the energy of that movie is really unparalleled. It's one of the few movies I can honestly say made the correct choice at every turn. Even the stuff that was wrong with it I can't imagine being done in a different way and still stay true to the spirit of the graphic novels that the movie is infused with.

So, yes, Sin City is much better than Batman Begins, but Batman Begins definitely lives as a version of the Batman story that I was very happy to see brought to the screen.

Anyways, peace out dawgs.
