I left Philosophy early, and I'm considering skipping my other two classes for the day and going and renting Closer seeing as it came out today. I don't know though. It's such a beautiful day that I'd really like to spend it walking around campus and looking out classroom windows feeling elated that when I walk outside I'll actually feel warm ( Read more... )

I think I'm going to rent Closer tonight too. Even though I have plenty of other things I should be doing. (I still have yet to see it.)

And a big CONGRATS on the no-smoking! That's awesome, and I'm supporting you! (You know, Vince Vaughn just kicked a 9-year habit...)

Good for Vince. Don't hate me for saying this, but I am actually looking forward to seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith. I think it will be a really fun, True Lies-style comedy. I like that Doug Liman has found a way to blend his Bourne Identity-style with a Swingers-kind of tone. Plus it's like the first time he's worked with Vaughn since Swingers, so the movie really should be clicking.

Hey, I'm totally seeing Mr. and Mrs. Smith! I think it looks fun, in a sexy kind of way. And of course, there's The Vince. Although I don't believe he has a lot of scenes in the movie. Maybe I'm wrong. Anyhow, when does it come out? I'll be in town early May, so we can see it if it's out then!

I thought it was brilliant personally, eventhough it is the kind of movie where the probably said "okay, she's gonna be a stripper, but actually showing something would be tasteless and lude, so let's just be pussys and imply everything." Goddamnit, if it wasn't such a great movie I'd be really pissed off. I mean covering up her vagina by putting Clive Owen's head in front of it. COME ON!
