I barbequed my first burger of the year for dinner tonight. It was really nice being outside cooking on the grill again! For me, summer is here now. I know a lot of people freeze their asses off and barbeque all year round but for me it's a summer/spring thing. I find it reminds me a lot of the cottage too. So it's Sunday night... and somehow I managed to only write a half page since my last post. I kept thinking about it all weekend but apparently guilt isn't as strong as it should be.

Well it looks like I might be going over to Grand Bend for the May 24th holiday weekend. That should be awesome. Apparently it's going to be warm this time so I probably won't manage to fall through a fucking glacier again! We're actually planning on having a bonfire on the beach right by the water. Ok, so I got to page 2 in my novel. I didn't have a hell of a lot of time to work on it today but I'm happy for myself. That's right, i'm patting myself on the back...

I was supposed to have a date on Friday but karma is a bitch. I didn't feel like going to the movies with Charbs earlier in the week because I was down and didn't feel like going out or explaining while I was down so I used the excuse that I was sick.
