Feeling a lot better in the head.

The birthday was a quiet affair which is what I needed, and with the fab weather of the weekend I’ve been in pretty chipper spirits. Shame can't be said for certain poor ol' souls that suffered rather aggressive food poisoning or in other cases concussion induced amnesia. Worry a' plenty for both.

Rule one: Look after yourself. All rules follow from here, but that's rule one. Obviously, you have compassion and concern for others, but no one will thank you if you cripple yourself needlessly when looking out for others.

So look after number one. I'm not promoting self-FISH-ness here, just pointing out that that self-less-ness can be diminishing if you're not looking after your own needs, wants and desires.

Tried to call you but the phone was being 'spheshal'- not sure yours or mine.

Either way, t'was a really lovely 'card'. Flatmate hasn't stopped playing with it and the other one is threatening to steal the batteries :)
