What is the concept of aesthetically perfect and will I ever attain it?

I do not have fun anymore. I used to enjoy making art but now I do not. Because I think my work is not perfectly rendered.

It is not realistic.

WOW. Thank you so much for this! Its good to hear from you again. :)

Here are my favorites:

The idea doesn't have to be big. It just has to be yours.

Nobody cares. Do it for yourself.

I admit it was hard for me to realize this. Its hard to block out my family but if I never do it I will be unhappy.

Worrying about "Commercial vs. Artistic" is a complete waste of time.

Remain frugal.

TRUE

Never compare your inside with somebody else's outside.

EXTREMELY TRUE

The best way to get approval is not to need it.

like you, I also have this sort of art-block, pero hindi gaya ng sa'yo. my issues is more about how can I sustain myself and my craft. been thinking lately what to do. I want to quit work, but if I do. I need to have a back-up. I want to produce projects pero I need funds for that. The only funding that I can have access to is the payroll I get from production work. But that also means you have to work with some people who doesn't care what you think.

work + this thing called social networking is killing much of my time now! nagpapaka productive kuno, pero sa loob-loob ko, this is not what I signed for in life!!!!!!

Lol, kasama pa talaga yung social networking. I get what you mean though. I guess the best thing we can do when it comes to sustaining our craft is to be wise about spending. Putting a little away helps. I have the same problem too but I try not to think about it. It could drive a person mad.
