Yes, he feared this man.

This was his father, the man whose genes were used to create both himself and Liquid, as well as Solidus. This was the man whose body was so important to Liquid Ocelot... To the entire world.

And here he was, alive and young. Sounding relatively... naive. And yet, Snake still feared him. He has no idea how to respond; to reply with video? Voice wouldn't do any good, they both sounded the same... Liquid probably already caught wind of this... What good was hiding from the man you learned everything from?

Eventually, the old soldier brought forth his courage, crouched down and activated the video feature, his face somber despite the fierce pounding in his heart. ]

I don't go by Big Boss. It's just a codename made up for me by someone else, a codename I don't plan to use.
