So, Tumblr is a great site for someone like me who, at times, has pretty much no attention span. It's just click, click, click, pictures and news articles and videos of things I'm already interested in. However, it's also kind of like screaming into a void.

I am so fucking glad I don't have Tumblr, because I'm apparently too naive for it. You mentioned cosplay and Night Vale in the same sentence and my first thought was "...but how can you cosplay something on the radio? she must be talking about something else--oh

when did Gerard talk about that? Im so not surprised - addiction runs in my family and I remember thinking "addiction means you cant have just one" but when did it come up again? and also god man I relate so hard to the whole having a sick brain and knowing you always will but thats not the end. it can be frustrating, so much. the skills i learned in treatment are almost as important as the meds.

I really think Spencer has been handling this super well, not just for being open with it, but also for doing the brave thing and saying, hey, I thought this was going to be okay but it's not so I'm taking a step back. That takes guts, especially because they're no doubt under a lot of pressure from the record company etc. Good for him! (I also still think that bringing out a new song, video, album and international tour all at once was a sucky life plan. It probably would have been easier on Spencer if it had been one thing at a time. Sigh, I will never understand music management
