I miss my Davis crew. Somehow they just fit, they were my gang, my group, my friends. I have never felt so much like I fit in and it's funny because I never would have expected it. The greatest thing ever would be to see Kenji, Ben, Sam, Sally, Brian, Lisa, and everyone else I hung out with at Davis show up at my work. I would probably pee my pants (good thing we wear aprons so you won't see the stain!)

I wish I could. I dunno. I feel lost in life sometimes and Davis didn't help me a whole lot. I feel like I would just stick there, and I am not made to stay in one place. I yearn for adventure. For travel and other cultures. Escondido isn't permanent, but it's easier to leave in a way.

You know, I don't think you can be real and safe at the same time. The best you can do is sort of compromise halfway and that's what most people do.

Amber, I miss you too! I really do think that you left when things were really great, and it has gone downhill a bit. Things just aren't the same w/o you, dear.
