First off, it’s fanfiction people; the key part of that being fiction.
Wincest (Incest between the Winchester brothers): Dean and Sam, the ones I watch avidly on TV each week are great in that they portray strong young men doing good in the world, even if they are outcasts because of it. In my mind ‘Dean and Sam’ who are often portrayed in fanfiction as lovers are distinctly different from the brothers I watch each week. They’re the same characters, but not the same characterisation. That’s the best I can explain it. If the idea offends you in any way, shape or form; please do not read any of my works with a ‘wincest’ warning.
RPS (Real Person Slash): Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki have never made a statement that they are anything other than heterosexual and Jared even has a long-term girlfriend; the beautiful Sandra McCoy. That being said, their very close friendship, red-carpet antics and gorgeous looks make them easy to write as gay lovers. No offence is intended to them personally or their families or friends.
