I love BBC's Sherlock an indecent amount. How could there have been only three episodes? It's cruel. I've been reading the fic like it's going out of style. I need more. More episodes, more fic, more art, MOAR. And I definitely need some Sherlock icons. Definitely definitely.

The BBC have commissioned a second series of Sherlock :) although it's only three more 90min episodes and it'll be autumn 2011 before it airs :(

I read about the renewal, and I'm definitely happy that there will be more, but WHY SO LITTLE?! AND IT'S SO FAR AWAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I think part of it is because they are 90 minute episodes, had they been shorter, 45 minutes or an hour there probably would have been five or six. Part of it is probably because Steven Moffat has to fit this in around being the show runner for Doctor Who, and because Martin Freeman is filming the Hobbit.
