*hugs back* I miss you, too ♥

You know, I'm totally not averse to you pulling me into random ships. Give me two pretty people and a reasonable situation, and I will create porn. Somehow, I can always get two people fucking in my head. A talent, I guess. Or something. Whatever.

One of the greatest lines you've ever written. Ok, I can't take 100% credit for it. The original line was pulls the come from Nate like a reluctant smile, but Kate (nightanddaze) thought it would be better to make it "one of Brad's reluctant smiles". I agreed.

The way you evoke images never ceases to impress me. WOW. Coming from you, who is ridiculously amazing at setting a scene and really making me see it, that is such an amazing compliment. I was really trying hard to get things across with more senses in this story, and less words, so having accomplished that at least in part makes me feel pretty darn successful.

Thanks, you. Your feedback never fails to make me smile :]

This is so good. The vignettes and physical ache have all of the real emotional ache of a long-distance affair. Nate's boredom and inability to decide are particularly effective, as is Brad's impatience. And oh Person!

Also having Allston name-checked in a fic made me smile like hell.

I'm so glad this came across so well. I thought the way the fic was written should reflect the way long-distance relationships feel: choppy and like it's never enough, bits and insufficient pieces. And I wanted it to work well with the song, too.

having Allston name-checked in a fic made me smile Yay! You must be from the Boston area; one of the few times my fic-research has visibly paid off :]

Thank you SO SO MUCH for commenting; I know it's rare enough for people to comment on fresh new fic much less an old, forgotten thing. That you took the time to do so (and had such kind words!) makes me very happy <3
