Today I went to the National Bureau of Investigation office in Manila to pick up my clearance papers. I don't know why my parents wanted me to get them in the first place, but anyway. Anyway, I am glad you're having a nice holiday. I have noticed that most of the people I see are not into the holiday spirit. This is the saddest Christmas I have ever witnessed in our country.

i remember when I applied for my passport renewal, I made the mistake of believing a "good samaritan" get my picture taken (I brought 2x2's and gullible me believed her when she told me they're super strict with photo sizes). To my horror, the "good samaritan" and her cheerful gang of goons were charging me 200 bucks for a lousy digicam pic (they used a cheapi-doo generic digicam). I took my papers and stormed out of the building shouting "mga manloloko kayo, karmahin sana kayo!"

Hahaha.

Good luck getting your NBI clearance dear. Did you foresake your DOST already? Hahaha. I really regret going for that scholarship, the headache's just not worth it :/
