I can log in, but I can't read my friends page ("Cannot find server" comes out, but there's no problem with the other pages). So for the past week, I've resorted to visiting snickersnack.livejournal.com/friends without logging in. I wonder how many friends-only posts I've missed. Or maybe I can stay logged in now, and visit LJs of people whom I know keep their journals friends-only.

Me too! I thought I was the only one with that problem. I was able to log on through the Inquirer computer, but not from mine. Problem is I go to PDI just once a week max. Hate it that I can't read the locked entries :(

sounds like an adware problem. try adaware or other reliable spyware busters trish. I'm so sorry for leaving three separate comments on your lj trish, ang sabog ko ngayong gabi. Ha ha :)

I've scanned with Ad-Aware, to no avail. Hmmm. :/

yeah.

activitists should always ensure that they finish their college education within a reasonable timeframe so that other people can take up the space they're wasting in UP.

how can they claim to be fighting for the common good if the people (myself included) won't even recognize the things they're doing to be for the common good.

:P

TRUE!!! Why can't they graduate first, and THEN rally in the streets all they want?

According to Mr. Voltaire from CAL-SC, "we need leaders, not students."

hey trish, anytime you wanna try the knoppix CD just lemme know :P No need to pay me cause Knoppix is free anyways :P

also, another possible solution. If you know anyone with a working PC (hmmm, I'm sure you do :P) you can install it in their pc and make your faulty hard disk a secondary hdd (be sure to adjust the jumpers in the back of the hdd) and then transfer your files to their hdd and you can burn or transfer from there :)

Thanks Kurt! :) The problem is, I wouldn't know what to do once the Knoppix CD is in my hands. Also, I brought it to sina Lizelle at EEE and they need a connector since it won't fit into any of the ports/connectors they have... Sigh. :(

But thank you so much though! :)

Hey trish, Yagi had this problem for a few days. It's an LJ problem, it's not your computer. I had one night din na ganyan. Diba they changed the addresses from www.livejournal.com/~username to www.username.livejournal.com? Basta I think it's related to that. Just comment on the post on LJ news so that they know that some people are still having that problem :)

Hope this helps.
