Right now I'm typing the text parts of my thesis poster. I have decided on a lime green background, orange (#FF4E00) trim, white text boxes, black Century Gothic font. My basis for the color combination (lime green and orange, and maybe I should change the font color to a rich dark purple) was a Shanghai Tang wallet I should have bought last year, ( Read more... )

Not even with ELEVEN FUCKING MONTHS of being sequestered in oppressive, discriminatory working conditions.

i can totally relate..with the length of time spent and discriminatory conditions. i feel for you. screw 'em all.

You sound like you need a hug. Find someone you want to be hugged by and tell them I tell them so.

I'd say something more useful and more intellectual, except that there isn't much to say, is there?

Hey, don't worry about that! I didn't have any results sa poster ko noh! Hehehe.

I really find it weird na the delinquent students always get their results within January-March samantalang yung mga nagwork since summer, can't even optimize their stuff! Bakit kaya?

So anong moda mo after? =)

i think it would be unfair to call them delinquent, kasi ang thesis naman talaga ay dapat ginagawa over a year long period, so technically, they still pass the standards. and it's their choice to have done what they did. sinwerte lang talaga sila :)
But I know where you're coming from, so I would understand why you feel since I also didn't have proper results for the longest time...

All I want is to sleep, go to the beach, take the GMAT, and turn my back on science FOREVER AND EVER, AMEN!It's sad that MBB is not achieving its mission-vision since some of its best and brightest are immediately turned away from science (I count the two of us as among its best and brightest, umangal na ang gustong umangal). That a relatively smaller and smaller fraction of its graduates are going into scientific research or academe is an indication of how there's something wrong with MBB ( ... )

this reminds me of the way so many people in my course (BS Psych) take it with intentions of going into med school afterwards. It's understandable for a couple to change their minds, but it seems like more and more people are getting turned off the medical track (myself included). I wouldn't say that this is an indication of anything wrong with BS Psych, but maybe it's just that less and less people find slaving away for the sake of science worth it :)
