Round 1/3

For a while there, I wasn't sure if fostering would be an option this year.  Rick's bizarre afflictions were so all-over-the-board for so long that it seemed irresponsible to stress him out with a kitten.  But he's been seizure free for six months, and his eye is as normal as repeated trauma will ever allow it to be.  Things have been calm for a ( Read more... )

Hooray, fosters! I can't wait until you've worked your magic enough on him so that we can meet him! I'm sure he'll be flopping on laps and demanding belly rubs in no time!

It's AMAZING how quickly they come around once they figure out who the Foodbringer is! I opened his cage door this morning and he literally started rolling on my feet, wailing for breakfast.

The Colonel has belly spots! They were much cuter in his kitten form

Very cool, and Chester is not a bad name at all!

Of course for me the name "Carsen" raises an entirely different image, thanks to a guy I knew in college. Similarly Blake will always make me think of a thin and slightly odd guy with a receding hairline who played a secret Tzimisce in a LARP and dressed like he was homeless.

No amount of dudebro! can overcome associations like that. :)
