I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last night with my bro-- I was not that impressed. I think I liked about 50% of the humor though. The oompa loompa song and dance numbers were way overdone and quite obnoxious. I guess I won't say much more for those who haven't seen it yet. i'm back from the mini-vacation as they would call it and it was quite the journey. destinations included: Horse Pens 40, Noccalula Falls, Desoto Falls (next to Fort Payne, AL-- the sock capital of the world!), Ruby Falls, and the Tennessee Aquarium. at the aquarium--i touched a sturgeon and a sting ray in the petting tank, and jasmine got ( Read more... )

we got a puppy! his name is Tiger, and although I didn't name him, it's kind of funny that I now have 2 animals named after other animals (and one named after a fashion accesory?) he's a german shepherd and both his parents weigh over 100 pounds, so he's going to be a big boy. isn't he cute? i'll post more pictures once the sun comes out. :)
