hahaha, no. that would be so cute. it's a joke. it's daniel's way of making fun of me for liking words. supposedly, concentrating in vocab became my dream right after i mangled "titanic" in the city spelling bee in 5th grade. (t-i-n-t-a-n-i-n-i-c, remember the random n's? it was bad)

speaking of bees! read this: http://theater2.nytimes.com/2005/01/23/theater/newsandfeatures/23gree.html?8dpc
it's so interesting, and written really cool(-ly?).

i couldnt spell "knoll" in my 5th grade spelling bee, although i could spell everyone elses words prufrock518 January 23 2005, 08:59:06 UTC
well, i dont have an ny times user id so i cant really get to the article.
(incidentally, i like the way that sentence looked unpunctuated, so instead i might just start saying things like "user ego" or "login superego" instead of "id")

and it took me a really long time to figure out where the "speaking of bees" came from, i was like no one nowhere was speaking of winged insects. (but did i tell you, i read the secret life of bees, and its awesome.)

do you remember 8th grade's overwrought/overrot fiasco? sniglet623 January 23 2005, 13:49:31 UTC
i would laugh at you for not understanding where bees came from, but it took me a really long time to figure out where all the freudian terminology was coming from, hahaha.

you should get a nytimes user ego/superego/id! you know what that would do? it would open a world of *knowledge*. just like college. i predict you will get one and be frantic with excitement about having gained entry into said world of knowledge.

does it surprise you that i own two copies of "the secret life of bees" (one here, and one in nc) and that i have yet to crack open either one? (sue monk kidd wrote it, right??? haha)
