This morning the phone rings at around 7:30. I answer the phone expecting it to be my mom telling me she forgot something at home on her way to the doctor this morning. No. It was her friend Debbie, screaming and crying hysterically on the phone where I couldn't understand one word she was saying until she got to "Charley died

Wow! I am so sorry! I can see how you want to skip this year! I am sorry you are having to deal with this; just know I am here for you. You can call or whatever, whenever you want. If you need to talk to just get some things off your your mind you know I am here. I always do that to you and it helps a little so feel free to do that with me. I wasn't too close to him. Just kind of shocking. I might need to get away at some point because I know Debbie will be over quite often. I don't blame her for it, but I'll need a break from her.
