For some reason, today I got a huge urge to make a pie. It would have flan at the bottom, and then after that chilled, chocolate pudding on the top. I think this sounds good.
One tip I'd have is to make sure to use a fork to break up the very top layer of flan after it's chilled, but before you pour in the liquid pudding. This will give the chocolate pudding better cohesion. If you just pour one on the other, they will slide off when they get on a plate.
If I steal this idea for my bakery, I'll be sure to credit it as 'Nancy's Pie.' :)
