My headache lasted for four days from Wednesday and still it refuses to be gone. I have been on medication (nothing too complicated; panadol once every six hours) and I have attempted to obtain just enough sleep for now. For recovery purposes I have had a doctor years ago recommend ten hours daily and I have been a pious follower of medical advice

You must go to the nearest emergency room as soon as possible. The sudden, sharp pains are not a good sign. You may need a brain scan. Please go ASAP, I'm worried about you. :-(

Thanks for the concern. I visited the clinic and thank goodness it wasn't anything serious.
