-All Day, All Over Town-[Wednesday morning started normally enough. Except for the fact that she’d been shot on Tuesday and bore no signs of having been injured at all. But seeing as she is currently droned, there’s no time to ponder this. Instead, she decides to take advantage of her day off. For the most part, she conforms to the clothing styles ( Read more... )

LATER THAT NIGHT~~ perfektsymmetry August 17 2011, 19:35:54 UTC
[Not that he wanted to keep it, but considering the rumours, Crowe kept the delivered milk in the fridge in case it was true that drinking the horrible thing would curse any more dronings. When Riza comes home, Crowe's in the kitchen, idly picking at some food he's not in the mood to eat.]

Hello, Crowe! Not hungry, tonight?

I can make you dinner!

[Overly friendly smile. Don't mind the gun she's holding, Crowe. She'll feel bad for this later!]

Riza-- [He pulls back away from her and the table. That gun and that empty smile say everything he needs to know.

Well, the back-up plan was in the fridge. He didn't want to. It was probably going to kill him. But so would Riza. Don't mind him slowly getting up and inching towards the fridge.]

[Riza tilted her head as Crowe backed away, and raised her weapon with slightly narrowed eyes.]

Where are you going?

N-Nowhere! Just… you wanted to make dinner, right? L-Let me get something...

[Going into the fridge now, opening the door, making all his moves obvious and deliberate. Though he is starting to shake at that thought of needing to drinking that stuff. What if it didn't work?]

No, that's all right. What kind of mother would I be if I let you make dinner yourself?

[She is going to feel like the biggest jerk ever later, but for now that doesn't stop her from clicking the safety off of her gun.]

Sit down and relax.

Ah, you know, i-it's okay, I just want to--

[Now, quickly, he reaches into the fridge, grabs the milk bottle, rips off the top and downs it. He knows if he sits there and thinks about it, he might lose his nerve. But it doesn't last long. He drops the bottle, making choking noises, as he grabs his throat, wincing. Falling to his knees, he coughs up a few razors blades and a lot of blood.]

I'm going to imagine the droning disappears right away snipingmissy August 18 2011, 16:03:22 UTC
[There's only a few seconds between when Crowe drinks the full bottle and when Riza suddenly blinks, shaking her head, trying to reconcile her memories from the day with what she was currently doing. Now aware of what's going on, she quickly clicks the safety of her gun and deposits it on the nearest flat surface before rushing to Crowe's side. She grabs a clean washcloth, crouching next to him, but hesitates just before she could dab it to his face.]

C-Crowe...

it does! perfektsymmetry August 18 2011, 16:19:59 UTC
[Oh god does this hurt. He almost swallowed one entirely, but managed not to, at least. Still, his throat, mouth and tongue are pretty cut up now.]

Y-- [He winces. Hurts too much to talk. Despite the pain, he looks relieved that Riza's back to normal, at least.]

[Riza continues to hesitate, wanting to check his mouth and help him remove any razors that might still be stuck, but not sure she ought to trust that she's back to her usual self after all of the insanity that had taken place earlier in the day.

Finally, she gently offers her hand to help him up and get him in a chair before turning to the sink, getting the washcloth wet before returning to him. He drank that milk to stop her from acting completely crazy.]

...Thank you.

[He managed to get them all, so at least he won't die from this. He gets to the chair, and starts cleaning himself off with the washcloth. He's just not sure how to stop bleeding when it's inside your mouth.

What he can't stop thinking about is having to do this again tomorrow, or someone else will be droned into a murderer once again.]

[If she's thinking about what to do about the milk tomorrow, she doesn't show it. Instead, she turns to kitchen cabinet, digging through the dishes until she found the bag of various medical supplies she'd "borrowed" from work. Ten she turned back to him, with a bit of a frown. Stopping bleeding was something she knew well enough by herself, but she'd learned more tricks now that she was forced to work in the hospital. From the bag, she produces some gauze and sterile water Yes mun did google how to stop bleeding in a mouth wound. For real..]

You need to put pressure on any of those cuts, but a washcloth isn't clean enough.

[She opens the water and one of the packages of gauze, dripping water onto it before handing the package to him. She makes the quiet assumption that he wouldn't want her stuffing her fingers in his mouth to help and as such will not do so unless asked.]

[He nods, taking the gauze and carefully placing it in his mouth, wincing. He gets up and digs out a pencil and a pad of paper from a draw of junk, and starts to write, a little shakily.]

Thanks.

We are going to have to do this again tomorrow.

[She prepares another piece of gauze, and nods slowly.]

I know. I'll drink it.

[She glances at him before looking back to the gauze, expression making it clear that this wasn't up for argument.]

Your mouth won't be healed by then..

[He doesn't look happy about it, but he knows you won't take no for an answer, so he nods. He starts to write again, longer this time.]

[She can tell that Crowe was displeased with her solution, but she wouldn't have him hurting himself over and over again with the milk for her sake. Besides, he'd suffered enough in the last two days.]

You need to hold that gauze in place for about fifteen minutes, and then we can see if your mouth is still bleeding.
