[Action for housemates, neighbors are free to hear Hawkeye smack her Not!husband upside the head =3, later she's hitting the streets!]

-Morning-
[Riza Hawkeye was naturally an early riser. It was the nature of her work. Most of the time, she didn't even need an alarm; she woke just before the sun came up and was ready to go about her day. Today ( Read more... )

[Hol wasn't an early riser... in fact, he made it a point to sleep in as late as he could before that drone wife of his tried to make him breakfast. However, that wasn't the case this day.

The poor fellow was given a rude and earlier than normal wake up call... that coming by the means of a less than called for beating from... from... someone new. He struggled out to stand and was met with a less than happy woman.]

Whoa, whoa... whoa!!! Calm down...! What am I doin' in your bed? Question is... what're ya doin' in my bed!?

[Yes Hol, that's the perfect way to make an introduction... he probably could've given a better explanation if well... he woke up on better terms.]

I'm so sorry, Hol X_x At least she's not hitting you this time? snipingmissy July 7 2011, 09:10:11 UTC
[Hawkeye was fuming. She didn't feel sorry for waking Hol so dramatically--yet. That might come later, but for now she was still in self-preservation mode.]

That photo! [She might be small, but she was much stronger than she looked, and she was still gripping his collar with one hand, while pointing at the wedding photo on the wall.]

I'm not married, I live alone. [Her voice was getting slightly quieter as she continued.]

How exactly does one wake up married to a man they've never seen before in their life?! I should hope you have a satisfactory explanation for this!

XD He deserved it! emperor_cowboy July 7 2011, 09:19:42 UTC
[He wasn't used to such rough handling from anyone! Forgive him for being just a bit nervous.]

Hey now, yer not the only one out there that lives alone. Okay, wait... back up. Uhm... Ah, yer one of the new folk 'round these parts.

... Ya wake up in this crazy town to live a life ya don't normally live and, well uh...

It's the town, I swear. I don't even know ya!

[She is staring at him, and she is clearly unconvinced. His expression had initially been a bit hostile, but now it had softened. At least a bit. Her grip on his collar, however, had not.]

I hope you weren't expecting that I'd believe such a pathetic explanation. A 'crazy town'?

I'm a First Lieutenant of the state military and you are expecting me to believe that shoddy explanation?

[If he was looking carefully, he'd see her searching the room. If she was supposed to live here, shouldn't there be a gun somewhere? She wasn't going to shoot him--yet--but it would at least provide her with some modicum of comfort, knowing that if she were caught in a dangerous situation she could at least protect herself.]

[ Clearly you're hallucinating.

Clearly.

I mean, did Lust walk by you in that coat of hers? Probably not. Probably not. Probably not.

But then she turns and glances at you with a very very knowing smirk. She continues on, with a little slightly more prideful stride in her step.

This town? Fucked up. ]

[That stops her. Dead in her tracks. She pauses, like she's seen a ghost, and then whips around. It takes a moment, but she follows. She was so absorbed in the stress of what was going on that she could hardly think straight, but to see Lust. Maybe this whole town had more to do with the homunculi than she'd thought?

She needed to get back to the Colonel. It was simply that that would be much easier if she knew where she was. As in not on a random street in some random town that she'd never seen before.]

[ SHE'S BAAAAAAACK. I mean, seriously, she is just going to turn her head a bit over her shoulders and smirk. Just.

This is brilliant. This town has sent her a plaything. A plaything to mock! I mean sure, about 3/5 of the Sacrifices are currently being pushed and locked into a vat BUUUUUUUUUUUUT, she'll deal with that later. SHE HAS IMPORTANT THINGS TO ATTEND TO.

Like trolling ]

Problem, Lieutenant?

[Hawkeye stiffens. She was trying to adjust to not thinking of herself with her title seeing as she was in the middle of some bizarre town in which she had a family and a husband and a job she'd never once seen before today, but habits were hard to break.]

What are you doing here?

[ Lan Fan, on the other hand, will rest upon a street light, just sitting there. With eyes like a Hawk, Hawkeye should have no problem spotting her. Lan Fan seems rather oblivious to her presence, mainly because she's turned around. The bun and the fact that someone is sitting on a streetlight should make her identity fairly obvious! ]

[Being the observant person that she is, Hawkeye does notice the person on a lamppost. It takes her a moment before the figure brings up a memory, and she pauses.]

Miss Lan Fan? Is that you?

[ Lan Fan will quickly turn around and express some shock at her presence ]

Hawkeye! I didn't [ She quickly dives off the street post before charging towards her. By the look of her face, her presence isn't a good thing. ]... when did you arrive here?! I arrived here about a week ago, and I didn't see you at all.

[Lan Fan's rapid approach threw her, and she put her hands up to calm the girl.] Just this morning. I gave my 'husband' quite the surprise.

You are settled safely, right? You have a home and aren't staying alone?

[Lan Fan was an accomplished bodyguard, but that did not mean that Hawkeye could be comfortable without making sure the child was in a position in which she would be safe.]

[When Riza finds her way back to the house, she'll find a tall teenage boy sitting on the porch swing, reading a book, a white cat asleep in his lap. Crowe had noticed the portraits had changed, but saw no sign of his new fake mother. He was still recovering from the July 4th event, and needed some relaxation time.

When he sees her approach, he'll put the book down. But introductions like this were always strange, weren't they?]

Ah... hi there.

[Her walk had not cleared her mind quite as much as she'd been hoping, and she was just as tense when she returned as she had been when she left. When she sees the boy, she pauses, taking a deep breath and steeling herself. They all know that this is all a ruse; provided he doesn't look at her and say something akin to 'Mommy', she can handle this.

When she reaches the porch, she bows politely.] Hello.

I saw you in some of the photographs inside.

[She smiles weakly at him, and tries not to cringe when he says that he is supposed to be her 'son'.]

My name is Riza, it's a pleasure to meet you.

[She glances at the front door of the house, and shakes her head.] I should hope that this is where I am, since I wouldn't like a repeat of this morning's shock.

[She does go about exploring until she's spent a good twenty minutes digging through the closet of clothing that she would never wear to find a dress with a high enough neck, and inwardly reminds herself to seek out sewing lessons. When she rounds the corner, she almost walks directly into the little yellow creature, and she froze.]

Hello...?

[She expected that a 'perfect family' would have a pet, but this was some sort of creature she'd never seen before.]

[She smiled a bit at the yellow thing, which seemed cheerful enough, and crouched down to be more at it's level.] Hello, there. Is Pikachu your name?

[She gently held out her hand, happy to pet the creature's ears but only if Pikachu would let her.]
