[Action for housemates, neighbors are free to hear Hawkeye smack her Not!husband upside the head =3, later she's hitting the streets!]

-Morning-
[Riza Hawkeye was naturally an early riser. It was the nature of her work. Most of the time, she didn't even need an alarm; she woke just before the sun came up and was ready to go about her day. Today ( Read more... )

[ Lan Fan, on the other hand, will rest upon a street light, just sitting there. With eyes like a Hawk, Hawkeye should have no problem spotting her. Lan Fan seems rather oblivious to her presence, mainly because she's turned around. The bun and the fact that someone is sitting on a streetlight should make her identity fairly obvious! ]

That is correct. She may not be able to have her stone immediately but the town doles out the regains at random. Who knows what she has, and if it'd be enough to take her down.

[ She brings up a very valuable point ]

Do you know how long she's been here, and how many of these regains there have been? It seems like nothing here is as arbitrary as it initially seems.

If we can discern the odds of her having regained her stone, we would be better able to decide if it's safe to try and do something about her.

I have no idea. I didn't even know she was here until you told me. It seems that regains when something awful happens. We can probably get someone to discover for us. Maybe we can find out where she lives and ask her husband if she's not a drone?

First, I think we need to see if she's been hostile at all. If she's not causing havoc, there's no reason to take her down. We shouldn't enrage her either, on the odds that she has the stone. Death may be temporary, but I'd rather not be on her bad side.

That might be a good option, but only if we can be certain that asking around won't trigger suspicion.

She is looking for the human sacrifices--Edward, Alphonse, Hohenheim, Izumi, and the Colonel--and evidently some of them have already been here. If we don't do something and one of them returns, we're condemning them to whatever action she decides to take.

We'll have to learn how to filter something away from her.

[ She'll nod ]

Alphonse said that she couldn't kill him until he crossed a certain line. If she's still searching for their return, then it's obvious she's not going to harm them. In fact... she may even... [ a groan ] protect or stalk them.

That she can't physically hurt them will only encourage her to be cruel in other ways. [She sighs quietly, thinking about how good at that Lust actually was.]

She doesn't seem like a nice person all together, but I doubt she'd be cruel to sacrifices. [ She'll have her usual line face, it's all she can offer. They're similar to the succession crisis in Xing that Lan Fan knows what she's talking about. ] They must matter a lot to the homunculi, so pointless torture won't get them any favors.

They are very important to the homunculi. They were used to help open the gate for the one they call Father.

[She shakes her head, not convinced.] Unfortunately, this will likely not keep her from being emotionally cruel to any sacrifices she comes across. Lust seems to enjoy playing with humans as if they are toys.

I think we should wait and see what she does when a sacrifice arrives. We don't exactly know how Lust views these sacrifices, or anything like that. [ beat ] I don't want us attacking her if she's not actively hostile towards them or if she's rather mundane in her emotional cruelty.

[She nods, but there's a millisecond of hesitation as she does so. She knows how malicious Lust can be in her attempts to screw with people's heads, seeing as she'd just experienced it.]

We'll simply have to be on our guard.

Noted. [ She'll give a brief nod. She doesn't even have much else to say. At least she doesn't know about her ties with the prince, right? ]

[Consider yourself lucky, Lan Fan.] Take care of yourself.

[And now, she is going to go on her merry way.]
