Who do you like more? Sakura vs Yuri or Mai vs Chun-Li : ).

I like Sakura a LOT, but use Yuri much better, and I like Mai more than Chun-Li because Mai is cute, ditzy and just very silly. Yeah. Debate : ).

Or talk about other girls you like and which company has the better girls. yay!

Capcom has the worst male character designs in a 2-d fighter, edged out slightly by Midway's Mortal Kombat boys, but their female designs are actually pretty good. Not particularly for Street Fighter. but Ruby Heart was pretty awesome.

However, SNK's designs are inspired. There's no irritating pallete swaps(read: Cammy/Juli/Juni), the character art tends to be a lot more realistic(see super-muscle Chun-Li and compare with May Lee or Kula), and every character's unique moves are fun to play. No universal hadoken and all :D

I like Capcom's art a LOT better. Especially the sprites... the artwork depends on the artist in both companies. I find Capcom's sprites better because they're cartoony and not realistic. I mean, this is 2d fighting... I don't see why SNK tries to make the sprites look realistic. Also, Capcom's sprites just have a much better quality overall

realism is so much nicer when it comes to 2D fighters, I think, because the overall cartoony aspect takes a lot away from the games, expecially when overbuffed. I agree, though, that the Bogard brothers have had some design issues, but in their latest games, they looked realistic, and that was good

Chunli VS Mai = TIE! Chunli is classic, and mai's.... mai XD Go execute her Shiranui Fox O' Nine Tails in KOF 2k2 to see what I mean.

As for Sakura VS Yuri = Sakura > Yuri. Yuri's just an annoying bitch. Albeit kinky XD. Sakura's a straight up masochist.

did he really do the art for cap vs snk 2? Because I LOOOOOVEEE that art. Like, it is the most awsome out of ANY of the artists I've ever seen. I don't like that guy who did the art for 2001-2002 and probably stuff earlier(I only have 2001 and 2002 XD). He REALLY blew it in 2001, 2002 was better, though...
