FLORIDA!!!
this is going to be such an insanely long entry, but i want to make sure i remember all of this vaca cause it was a pretty good one. i put it under the cut tho, cause it's going to be beastly:
wednesday i got home after the longest day of school EVER and finished packing and stuff. we got to the airport at about 6 for our 8pm flight, and then just kinda hung out for a while. the flight was ok, uneventful except for mike doing random funny things. he made the best comic ever, i'll try to remember to bring it to school tomorrow. got to orlando airport at around 10:45 cause our plane got in early and then went to the house we were staying in. the house was beautiful!! i got tons of pictures of it, but i'll post all the pics later, i'm too tired and lazy to do that now.
Thursday
we left at 8am an drove for 3 hours to Ft. Meyers for the Sox games. Mike helped me memorize my lines and insisted on doing different weird voices for each character. it was hilarious, but the least helpful thing EVER. We got to the part at around 11 and went in to try to get autographs and stuff. none of the players came over to us tho. it was soooo hot out which led to some evenful moments...the game started at around 1 and it was so nice to see baseball again! tek wasn't there, but it was still fun. We ended up winning against the twins, but i don't remember the final score. after the game we waited around outside the park to get some autographs, and mike got adam sterns. he was so hot and wicked nice! we tried to get trot nixon's, but he just drove by us. we went back to a sketchy hotel we were staying at overnight, and then went out to dinner. even tho the hotel was sketchy, it had such a nice view of the beach and sunset and stuff. dinner was good, then we went out and got ice cream and walked on the boardwalk, which was beautiful and amazing. we went back to the hotel and i went right to bed cause i was exhausted.
Friday
Got to the sox game at 10:30 that day cause we wanted to get autographs. mike and i were like, 2 feet away from bronson and manny, but my aunt had my camera and we couldn't get through all the little kids to get autographs. the players wore their green uniforms for st. patty's day which was cool. we watched the game until the 6th and then left so we could make it back to orland by 6 to go to epcot for a while cause it was st. patty's day. but by the time we got back to our orlando place everyone was too tired. i was disappointed, but it was ok cause the sox ended up tying that game so it wouldn't have mattered if we stayed. we ordered take out from this little italian place and it was delish! then i went to bed early again because i was wicked tired again.
Saturday
Woke up at around 8:30 so we could leave for universal by 9:30. it was so busy there but it was so fun!we went on a ton of rides and stuff. we stayed at islands of adventure for about 4 hours, then went over to the universal theme park for a couple hours until we met my mom and aunt for dinner at margaritaville...which kinda sucked. it was so weird, and all the drunk old people singing jimmy buffet songs didn't make it much better. but then we walked around universal at night which was pretty. we went home after that and i called katie and talked to everyone. then went to bed early again.
Sunday
Disney day!! we left the house by 10 and got into the park by about 11 because of traffic and parking and stuff. we went to mgm first and did the rockin roller coaster and then the tower of terror. that was all we really wanted to do there, so then we went over to epcot for the space ride and the test track. then we went over to magic kingdom haha. we did more there than anywhere else in the parks. we went on splash mountain and space mountain and the haunted mansion. mike and my dad wouldn't talk to me for a few minutes after the haunted mansion cause it was so bad and it was my idea. after we did all the other rides and stuff in the magic kingdom we went back home. it was our last night in florida, which was sad. i stayed up late and watched tv even tho i was tired cause i didn't want to leave in the morning.
Today
Got up early and packed. that's basically it. i came home and i still have yet to do hw or anything. i miss FL so much! it makes me so sad to have to come home to school and cold and stuff. i want to go back. i don't even have to go there again, i just want to go away, anywhere. i love vacations, but they make it so much harder to come back home and get back into the normal stuff. i really have to go do hw now, i procrastinated an entire weeks worth of work until tonight. it's going to be a late night tonight, whoops!
i'll update with pictures in a few days. hopefully that will be more interesting than this entry. mike and i took some hilarious pics in disney, and i got a couple good ones of the sox. hope everyone had a good week, and i'll see you all tomorrow!
