Summer Anime
awww yeeaaahh

█ Sacred Seven it was alright? i think i need to see more to make an informed observation, but it was interesting. my only gripe is that everything seems to happen so fast. i wanted to see more of the main character fighting his mecha crystal thing to keep control over it. also, i'm reminded strongly of t&b throughout, but that's to be expected.

█ Ikoku Meiro no Croisée it was cute! i love the idea of a little japanese girl in france with a hot tsundere french guy and an eccentric carefree grandpa, haha. i'm... not sure what kind of story they're gonna be going for, though. not many options that aren't... boring as hell, haha.

█ Uta no Prince-sama entertaining? yes. going to be a quality anime? not by far, but i really do enjoy myself while watching it, so i'm going to keep at it for sure. the color schemes for many of these characters are just mesmerizing, lmao.

█ the iDOLM@STER sooo boooooring jesus. it's done like one of those movies that are made to look like uncut footage for an upcoming tv show, with moe girls acting repulsive and predictable, etc. also, a problem i knew we were gonna have - can not fucking remember who anybody is. wait, okay i remember the boyish looking one, cause she was cute and i literally thought she was a boy. think her name was makoto...?

█ Mayo Chiki not much to say, neither good nor bad. pretty boring though... /;

█ No.6 okay, this is the shining beacon in what is this season's arguably shitty lineup. Honestly, it mixes so many great elements that I would never understand why anyone wouldn't immediately like it. (except people who don't like borderline shounen ai, i guess...) I like to think of it as a cross between Ergo Proxy and Kingdom Hearts (the kh coming into play with characterization, actually, while Ergo for setting and a bit of plot.) It was really adorable, plus i'm a big fan of intense friendship stories, so i'm almost okay with it not being outwardly shounen ai, haha.

█ Mawaru Penguindom the art i saw for it was pretty misleading. while i was watching, the animation became very distracting - specifically, the facial traits of the characters. at angles, their noses got extremely long and pointed, which was really unflattering, and one of the twin boys' eyes had strange lashes... i know i'm being nitpicky. the plot was interesting, so i'm keeping with it, i guess.

things i have downloaded but yet to watch: usagi drop; blood-c; itsuka tenma no kuro usagi; kamisama no memo-chou; guilty crown; yuru yuri.
still planning on watching that one gainax one, too. hmm...
